There are so many ways to capture and remember your wedding day, photographs and videos, choosing a pair of wedding shoes you can re wear time and time again, wearing your bridal robe to remind you of the wedding morning excitement, but there is nothing quite like the memory that comes with scent.
The first perfumes were actually incense made by Mesopotamians about 4000 years ago. The term perfume originating from the Latin expression per fumus, meaning through the smoke was later given the name we more familiarly know, parfum by the French.
The scent of a perfume has the ability to transport us to a place or a feeling familiar or otherwise, bespoke notes to make you feel like that scent was made especially for you. Iris – “She steals the full beauty of Springtime…” that she sure does.
