We had the pleasure of having Blać Cosmetics as our Beauty Partner for Wild Hearts this year, with a talented team of Makeup Artists creating the ultimate bridal beauty look for our Wild Hearts Runway at The Cloud on Auckland’s Waterfront in September.
As we start to shop our beauty essentials for the Summer, we decided to sit down with Blać Founder and talented Makeup Artist Krystal Hayward, to get to know a little more about this dreamy NZ beauty brand. You have a big focus on cruelty free makeup, can you please share with us the story behind this brand moral and how you maintain this throughout your new ranges?
We are have been very careful to only work with manufactures that pride themselves on using ethical procedures and ingredients
I have a huge passion for animals and their welfare so being a brand that does not test on animals is extremely important to me.

What is your favourite Blac product for creating a gorgeous glowy skin look?
My fav products for creating the perfect glow are the skin perfecting foundation and the illuminating blush & Contour pallet.
What are your top tips for skin prep leading up to a wedding and how can our couples take care of their skin in the prepping months?
The most important info I give to my brides for skin prep is one, drink a lot of water over the weeks leading up to the wedding, and two start a good skin care routine 3-6 months before hand this will ensure your skin is used to your routine and the products you apply.
What is a must have Blac product for everyones handbag on a wedding day?
