Wild Oceanscapes \\ With CHASEWILD Workshops

We had the pleasure of dreaming up and styling the tablescape and couple shoot for Cameron and James of Chasewild for their Only The Goodness Workshop in Auckland earlier this month. Chasewild have been running workshops across New Zealand during the last few years, with over 140 photographers attending. Due to a demanding workload (these uber talented guys have several irons in the fire across the photography scene), workshops in the future will be limited, with just one or two a year.

This workshop featured a styled – emotive, adventurous oceanscape elopement setting on the moody shores of Muriwai. The ironclad sand of the West Coast was reflected in the dreamy artful table setting – pewter, warm ash and fresh charcoal amongst a modern organic pallet of luxe oyster whites and stone. The sandstorm tones were heightened by the wildly romantic florals by the Floral Stylist Co, and softly mixed with industrial inspired textures, contrasting the semi-rural location and the heaving waves heaving nearby.

Slowly dipping light set in for the afternoon, creating an amorous setting for our alluring young couple, the bride radiating in two intricate Brooke Tyson Ritual gowns and the groom fully suited by Barkers. An incredible team of creatives and vendors, including hair by Hare & Hunter and makeup by Blair Gamblin, contributed to this lustful styled setting (full credits below).
