An incredible amount of dreaming, planning, designing and collaborating goes into the making of our Wild Hearts Runway Shows- and we absolutely love seeing the magic come together on the centre stage! We featured a full Auckland Runway recap last week on the blog (head here to check it out) featuring so many incredible images by the talented photographers there on the day.
We also had some incredible photographers capturing some beautiful candid magic behind the scenes- we loved seeing these amazing backstage images so much that we had to share them! The talented ladies behind creative concept studio, The Virtue, created a series of images in their signature style of beautiful, moody moments. We love how they captured the myriad of luxe textures backstage- shafts of sunlight across the wooden floors, draped silks and laces, glossy hair and illuminated skin.
Also behind the lens was fashion photographer Jonny Lung, who captured an amazing series of super-cool informal images. The models from Red 11 were just incredible and we love the sense of fun and effervescent personalities Jonny captured.
The amount of talent backstage was immense, with the L’Oreal Makeup team lead by the amazing Lisa Matson creating beautiful makeup looks alongside the very best in luxury hair design, the team from Servilles Hair. Managing the backstage magic we had our very own Wild Hearts go-to babe Georgia Greig and Jo Mickelborough from Red 11.
Our amazing 2018 runway designers were Miss Crabb, Hayes Bridal, BLAK Bridesmaids, Boho Bridal, Leave Her Wilder Bridesmaids, Bluebelle Bridal, Barkers, The Stockroom, Juliette Hogan, Jessica Bridal, Brooke Tyson Ritual and for the little wild ones- Little Trelise and custom Mini Miss Crabb!
The latest in bridal fashion pieces were accessorised with our fave shoes by Chaos & Harmony and stunning jewels by Zoe and Morgan.
