We all know planning a wedding or running a business in the wedding industry can be stressful AF. All the details, plans and keeping lovely people and crazy relatives happy can really take a toll. Which is why over the last 12 months we started researching the best tips, tricks and dreamy destinations to calm your soul and help battle those stress levels.
Ending the year in the best way possible our Wild Hearts Director Samantha travelled to Raglan for the most dreamy retreat with Wild Coast Yoga. The perfect way to recharge with daily yoga looking out to the ocean, beautiful food, Seedlip cocktails, mindful workshops, paddle boarding and so much more. Then we ended the day sleeping under the stars in the Tipi Forest at Solscape.
With the next Retreat coming up in March we thought it would be a great chance to catch up with the lovely girls Bridget & Monica from Wild Coast Yoga and share a little more about these soulful retreats in the wildly beautiful Raglan.

Tell us a little about Wild Coast Yoga? and how you came up with the idea to host this beautiful Retreat in Raglan?
Wild Coast Yoga was dreamed up in Raglan by two friends, passionate about yoga and who share the love of the ocean. We wanted to create deluxe yet environmentally friendly mats where yogi’s could get swept away from their daily lives and embrace everything the ocean has to offer during their practice. We then wanted to share with others a unique Raglan yoga experience that aligns with our brand and ethos in an amazing setting.
Tell us about the itinerary for the retreat?
Our retreat offers a unique experience with a combination of yoga practices, workshops and relaxation.

Why did you choose Raglan as the location to host the retreat?
We both live in Raglan and fell in love with Solscape from the moment we arrived, we wanted to share the Raglan experience with others from around New Zealand and show them everything our beautiful little town has to offer.
Why is it important to take time to recharge the soul?
Non stop demands and hectic lifestyles often lead to exhaustion – physically, mentally and spiritually. That is why it is so important to carve out time from our busy schedule to rest and recharge our energies and align our body, mind and soul on a regular basis. So we have developed our retreats to nourish, restore and renew the soul, ground ourselves and connect with nature.
Do you have to be an expert at Yoga to attend these retreats?
Not at all, our retreats are for beginner to intermediate levels.
Where can we purchase your beautiful Wild Coast Yoga mats? and do you have any new designs coming soon
