|| A Pop-up Christmas Party for the Wild Ones with Wild Hearts & Romer ||
One of the hardest things about being a small business at this time of year, is seeing everyone else having their big work Christmas parties!
So in true Wild hearts style we decided do something a little different to share the love this Christmas. We gathered some industry pals together for a spontaneous Pop-Up Christmas Party with our favourite new app Romer.
Romer is the best new app for summer adventures and finding all the hotspots around town – it’s like tinder, but for awesome places to go and things to do! ( Download the app here: iTunes ROMER )
Using Romer we “swiped right” on all of our favourite experiences in Christchurch and then added our friends to create one epic afternoon of adventures!
First stop was Margaritas on tap at Welles Street, a great central spot with cool urban vibes. Then off we went to the next destination in our MINI Countryman and MINI Clubman thanks to the team at Christchurch MINI Garage – who drove us all around the city for the afternoon.
Our next Christchurch Romer experience was Aperol Spritz at O.G.B in the Cathedral Square. Always a favourite spot to sip cocktails in the sunshine, enjoying live music and friendly banter from the bar team.
Then back in our MINIs and on to the next experience. An iconic Christchurch classic – Punting on the Avon. As our guest took in the beautiful sites along the river, and even had a go at punting the boat themselves ( not sure how safe that was a few cocktails down! ) – we snuck off to add a little Wild Hearts magic to our final Romer experience.
As the girls finished up their river tour, we instructed them to walk along the pathway up into the Christchurch Botanical Gardens where we met a few more friends who had helped us set up the most beautifully wild picnic in the park. We had bohemian furniture by Gypset Style and Hire, iced tea by Noble & Savage, and the most incredible platter I have ever seen – by the girls at Bespoke Platter.
We spent the afternoon grazing, drinking tea and wine, listening to Christmas tunes and chatting business ideas, all things love and wild summer adventures.
The perfect way to end the year surrounded by inspiring people, who love what they do!
