Another elegant, elevated escapade by Kate Craig-Brown saw Brazilian couple, Steffi and Matthias, glowing in backcountry bliss. Entwined and swaying in Central Otago’s expanse of sepia tussock, the atmosphere was blurred by love, summer and the onset of dusk. Soft, dijon hues, earthy and arid in nature, encased the wild two on the hillside above the all encompassing views.
In a considered take on wedding fashion, Steffi and Matthias incorporated a hired wedding dress with much loved pieces from their own wardrobes. The porcelain whites of Steffi’s layered tulle dress and Matthias’ shirt stark against the honeyed grass, yet linked to the surroundings with caramel hued boots and chinos and the rich folksy reds of Matthias’ accessories.
Serene atop the eternal lake vista, a mix of borrowed and pre-existing elements had these two hearts roaming candidly in pure understated elegance.
