How we celebrate weddings has molded and reshaped over the last 2 years. Receiving the package of the Dove Wedding Planner felt like you had been invited in on a planning secret. The planner comes in a gorgeous close-fit box with gold foiled writing. It feels special before you’ve even got to the planner. Met by a card with a whimsical image of a woman holding the planner behind her back. As if to say this was her secret ammo for organising the perfect wedding. The planner sets the tone of calming within the first pages. You are promoted to recollect your story, how you met, and your engagement. Starting from where it all began and a gentle reminder of why you are about to endeavor on this planning journey. The planner covers everything you could possibly need to organise, plus more you didn’t know you should have covered. From budget to florals, styling to music. The planner has clear categories as well as plenty of room for scribbles and styling notes. With inbuilt calendars and monthly checklists in each section, you know your timeline is taken care of.
Wild Hearts loves how the TJ X AOL Planner not only prompts organisation, but throughout the planner includes very human moments. Greta and Beck have ongoing reassurance and positive reminders throughout their advice. We feel a lot of care in moments when they remind us to pop Panadol in our emergency day kit and double-sided tape to ease those on-the-day bloopers.
With all of the info, we are hit with daily TJ X AOL guides us on how to stay focused on one theme for the wedding and how to navigate the planning experience so it is enjoyable and memorable. The new planners feature unique post-pandemic advice for crisis management, flexibility, smaller weddings, and elopements. Beck discussed in their launch that “There’s nothing better than love! But I’ve watched some of my loved ones feel overwhelmed — sometimes by the sheer volume of tasks at hand and sometimes because of the unknown and feeling out of their depth. This was one of the core reasons I wanted to design the ultimate wedding planner. Greta and I wanted to take away some of these pain points we’d seen first-hand and provide a thorough, user-friendly planner that would help reduce any stress and fear. To give couples all the tools they need to plan their day, no matter how big or small their celebration.”
