Lee Bee Bride was born in 2017 from the desire to continuously redefine what it means to be a ‘bride’ in today’s world. Designing “cool girl” wedding gowns for the trendsetters and the rule breakers. For the brides who aren’t afraid to push the boundaries and have a bit of fun with their bridal look.
The Lee Bee brand was dreamt up by Lisa (LEE) and Abbey (BEE), designer duo, sisters, and co-founders of Lee Bee Bride. Two sisters on a mission to design and create glorious bridal gowns for women like us around the world! A one-of-a-kind bridal experience for our one-of-a-kind brides.

Tell us about the collection you showcased at Wild Hearts Runway this Spring?
Think effortlessly beautiful with a feminine flair. Featuring a range of contrasting luxe fabrics + jaw dropping flattering lines. So excited to be showcasing a handful of sparkling new designs from our upcoming collection.
What is the story behind your collection?
We are constantly inspired by the women around us. Through interweaving our creative flair, our one-on-one connection with our brides, and our belief that every woman deserves to feel confident, glorious, and empowered on her wedding day, we have designed a collection of gowns that inspire brides to create their own traditions and wear what they love.
What is the process for couples looking to purchase or perhaps have a custom piece made by you?
Our designs are made to order and can be customised to suit the comfort and style of our brides. We generally recommend allowing 9-12 months for your gown to be made and alterations if required. If you can’t make it into our New Plymouth studio we have selected retailers around NZ and a dedicated online team to help you with your purchase wherever you are in the world.
You are based in New Plymouth, do you have stockists around New Zealand or can couples contact you directly?
We have stockists worldwide. If there are no stockists in your area you can contact us directly and our legendary team will help you with the purchase of your special gown
What is your best seller and do you have accessories for purchase also?
Our current best sellers are Tyson (lace) and Tyson Crepe. There’s something about Tyson
Do you have favourite styles for petite, curve and maternity weddings?
Our gowns are designed and created with all beautiful body shapes in mind. With our customisation options you can make your gown your own regardless of shape or size.

Do you have any teasers on what is next for your brand?
We have recently rebranded and have a glorious new collection dropping in November to align with our new brand ethos – luxe, cool, fun + feminine.
