Leave Her Wilder is a luxe bohemian Resort wear and Bridesmaid brand based in Auckland, New Zealand. The concept of Leave Her Wilder is a result of change in course and a leap into the unexpected. The brand is inspired by the women in our lives who live fiercely, loyally and wildly, on their own terms.
We sat down with designers Chelsea and Greer after their debut campaign shoot for their newly launched bridesmaid collection, captured on the soulful shores of Bali.
We are super excited to introduce the talented duo, and their up and coming killer brand Leave Her Wilder.
Tell us about Leave Her Wilder and your new collection…
We established Leave Her Wilder after many years in the wedding industry, many years spent meeting beautiful brides, working in stunning studios and countries, with beautiful textiles and amazingly talented people.
This history naturally led us into the world of bridesmaids. A world where we knew was untapped and begging to be filled with considered bohemian silhouettes to captivate our girls and make them feel flattered, comfortable and banging!

Our gowns are designed to capture the unique souls of the babes wearing them. They are intended to adapt to any event and be a canvas to style your own way.
Dare to deviate from the conventional bridal party attire and stand confidently in support of your soul sisters or rock one to that event you have ‘nothing to wear’ to… the options are endless.

Bohemian, Romantic and spirited.
What keeps you inspired?
Travel. I love traveling to countries that have a rich culture, great food, a hot climate, gorgeous galleries and unique shopping is my ultimate happy place. There is nothing more inspiring than Finding local designers, artists, and craftman who are creating amazing and unique things that you can only dream of.
Who is your design muse?
I find a lot of my creative energy comes from hours spent obsessing over images of the babes from the 60s and 70s; Stevie Nicks, Bianca Jagger or Anita Pallenberg floating in a magical kaftan with billowing sleeves that’s covered in beading, long fringe and styled with a wide brimmed fedora. The ultimate style!
Where would we find you on a Saturday morning?
I like to kick off my weekends with an active start, either a stroll with girlfriends at the beach or finding a new waterfall walk is a great way to get out of the city. Then I turn into a professional café hopper which also involves another one of my favorite past times…people watching.
What’s your favorite destination to travel to in New Zealand?
Hahei is a recently found favorite spot of mine! Kayaking around to all the surrounding islands with a picnic, book and a bikini; then returning exhausted to the cute local pub for pizza and beers is the perfect summer weekend getaway.
