Wild rangers of the soft gilt cliffs danced above the waves for this week’s elopement styled shoot at Godley Heads, Christchurch. Coloured by honeyed breeze, bare tussocks and cornflower blue pinned below, the unveiled landscape was the perfect setting for our couple’s relaxed, love ridden nuptials.
Sartorial notes highlighted the beauty in simplicity; monochrome with doses of sandstone cider. For the bride, sans shoes and a cotton broderie anglaise dress, a scalloped hem and halter shoestring straps, and the groom, an effortless black suit and open collared white shirt. A bouquet of dried florals by The Flower Press NZ reflected the tussocky hills; glided nectar, wild and graceful.
Down in the cove, our lovers quenched the thirst of the parched surroundings, frolicking in the shallows and ochre light. A wild love shoot dedicated to each other and the oceanscape. Heartfully captured by photographer and stylist, Meg Stuthridge.
