This amazing couple, Geraldine and Tian, embarked on an incredible pre-wedding destination shoot with Christchurch photographer Joanna Macdonald, who captured these spectacular images for the couple to treasure forever.
The magnificent snow-capped peaks of Mount Cook provided the first dramatic backdrop for these lovers, who also adventured over sprawling tussocky plains to the other-worldly landscapes of the towering Clay Cliffs. For these images, Geraldine wore a gorgeous lace-embellished gown from Belle & Tulle Bridal, with a beautiful make-up look by Stephanie Law. The glittering shores of Lake Wanaka also beckoned, with the couple strolling hand in hand at the water’s edge, then flying up to the hilltops with Alpine Helicopters to get those awe-inspiring on-top-of-the world shots by amazing Joanna.
With the sun setting over the wild landscapes, New Zealand’s natural elements framed the beginning of this beautiful couples love story in the most breath-taking way.
