Set on the ridge-line above lake, this week’s styled shoot by HapPea Events brings earthy, native and sustainable styling to The Black Barn Lake Tarawera. Living plants are used as a central styling element, with unique native New Zealand flora connecting guests to nature and intensifying the wholeness of our landscape. Cascading ferns, Nikau palms, Manuka, grasses and many more injections of indigenous green amplify the feeling of wellbeing and love.
Infusing nature with the indoors, the reception tablescape is sumptuously green with sleek accents. Black tapered candles, slimline dark chrome cutlery and charcoal earthenware create a grounding feel and add depth to the wooden features of The Black Barn.
The brides’ Brooke Tyson Ritual gowns add an ethereal element to the day. Delicately swathed in a combination of luxe satin, full sleeves, beaded lace and wrap waists ~ both dresses complementing each other, whilst showing off the brides’ individual style. Deliciously paired with heels by Chaos & Harmony in champagne and red wine velvet.
