What started from a small town dream, it is crazy to see we are now in our fifth year as New Zealand’s only Nationwide Wedding Event, with a digital reach spanning the world! Our handbag-friendly A5 Wild Hearts Magazine is the perfect hand-book for all of our brides and groomsto-be, searching for the ultimate wedding, styling and travel inspiration. Our annual Wild Hearts Magazine gives you the unique opportunity to advertise your products and services in this beautiful publication throughout 2020. The Wild Hearts Magazine will be available from May 2020 — online via our website and ticket agency, in selected boutiques, and at each of our Wedding Fairs. A complimentary copy will be given to all Wild Hearts VIPs and to our wonderful vendors at each of our vendor evenings, with special bulk order options for you to give away to your clients. RRP $15

FAQs

When is payment due?

A 50% deposit is due within 7 days of booking your vendor site and/or runway space to secure your spot. The final balance is due 6 weeks prior to the event date. Advertising space in the 2020 Wild Hearts Magazine will be payable upon invoice.

Online directory listings

All SILVER and GOLD Vendor and Runway packages include a 6 month (or more) Wild Hearts Online Directory Listing. Vendors will be responsible for sending appropriate images and information for their online listing by the month prior to each event. All listings will go live 1 month prior to the event date and will stay on the website for 6 months. Vendors have the option of upgrading this to a 12 month listing under the Optional Extras included on our online booking form

Do you have payment plans?

Yes, we know exactly what it is like to be a small creative business trying to make your way. So let us know if you would like to set up a monthly payment plan to help make it easier. This will need to be complete by the final payment date of the month prior to event day.

Can I do more than one fair?

When booking into a second, third or even fourth fair location we will give you 10% off your selected site package. Come and join us on a road trip!

How many people do you get to the fairs?

Our last three years going nationwide exceeded our expectations with a large volume of our target market and also industry professionals through the door, specifically to experience Wild Hearts and our very popular Wild Runway. In 2020 we hope to get an even bigger response with the brand now growing rapidly. Our anticipated guest count has been 1000+ in Auckland and 300 – 500 in our smaller boutique destinations. Our aim is not to get thousands of people through the door, it is to get the RIGHT people through the door. Plus with our large social reach we have the power to not only reach those that are there on the day, but also couples all around the world! Taking our exposure to all the right places, not just your average door count.

Your creative space

All vendor spaces are free standing which means no attaching to walls or the traditional shell-type structure boxing you in and separating you from other vendors. This gives you full creative rein to dream up something which reflects your business and brand, while looking appealing to our guests. We recommend getting in touch with neighbouring vendors to learn what their plans are for either side of your space. Collaborating with aligning brands and creating an experience that couples will remember you by. See our inspiration pages to help with styling ideas.

Stand space

Remember this is not an expo, so please do not treat it like one. Get creative, have some fun and really try to portray the essence of your business in your set-up. Sometimes this can be as easy as a beautiful chair. A backdrop and some pretty florals. We have some wicked vendors we like to work with who are based at each of our different destinations and have a great range of hire and style pieces. Ask our team for a list of local faves.

Power

Power is not included in your stall fee but is available. Please see the Optional Extras section of our online booking form. If vendors are bringing their own extension leads and powerboards, these must be tested and tagged by a licensed contractor within the last 12 months. As well as any other electrical items. Anything that does have a recent tag and tested sticker on will be tested on site and charged $20 per tag following the event.

Timber structures and backdrops

We do not supply timber structures or backdrops. Vendors build and bring their own to the event. There are style and hire businesses in each location that might be able to assist with this for the day or put you in touch with an appropriate supplier. Please check with our team about ceiling heights and restrictions in each destination.

Sharing a space with other vendors

All vendor sites are for individual businesses, unless both parties have booked on the day or have confirmed this collaboration with the Wild Hearts Team. We will not accept shared vendor spaces on the day without prior approval.

Liability insurance

Liability insurance certificates must be provided prior to the event date. For Shed 10 the cover must be to the value of 5 million and the other destinations are 2 million. To be a part of our Wild Hearts events proof of cover must be approved by our Wild Hearts team. So please check your certificates before sending them through to us, and adjust if required. There is also an option of entering under Wild Hearts liability insurance cover for $100 +GST on your booking form, or we can suggest an Insurance Broker to speak to about getting appropriate liability cover for your business.

Insurance for designers

While we do have a very professional well experienced backstage team contracted for our events, things can still go wrong and we do recommend all designers (especially those not attending the events in person) have their own insurance to cover any missing items in postage or any unlikely damages during the event. Wild Hearts will not be liable for any missing or damaged items

What size range of models are we using?

We use a beautiful selection of hand picked models from Red 11 agency in Auckland. Models range from size 6-12. Our shows are to draw inspiration and target a bride who is fashionable, on trend and not one to shy away from something ‘wild’.

What media will we get after the runway show?

We have multiple experienced fashion and wedding photographers on board to ensure you get several images of your runway live in motion. After the show these will be put in dropbox albums for your usage. Wild Hearts and our photographers try to ensure we capture as much of the day as possible, however due to the nature of events, we are unable to guarantee everything will be captured.

How will this benefit my brand?

Previous vendors and designers have received multiple leads and have generated sales from our fairs and runways. Your brand will be showcased in front of many eager brides on the day, and those watching our live feed of the runway, plus our recap blog and posts, and our guests sharing through their social platforms. As well as this, you will be featured within our program for the day.
